Bon Fet!

I don't know about you but birthdays were always special in my house. Surprisingly, I loved being the center of attention :) (I know this shocks no one!). Of my friends that are visiting this week, one person had a birthday last week and one is turning the big 3-0 on the 13th. In Haiti I have missed some weddings, birthdays, babies, showers and other celebrations which bring people together. Sometimes I feel left out or sad that I can't be there. With so many friends here this week I couldn't help but surprising them with my special Haitian party and being a part of the celebration.
